Mobile Push Notifications

Workspace Web Edition & Web Services can deliver notification messages to a mobile device through Genesys Mobile Services (GMS). This allows mobile applications to be notified of state changes when they do not have an active connection to Workspace Web Edition & Web Services.

To enable Mobile Push Notifications, do the following:

1. Set the nodeId option to a unique identifier, such as the host name or IP. Note: If this option is already set, you do not need to change it.
2. On the Cluster application, add a connection to Genesys Mobile Services. See the Creating the Cluster Application procedure for details.
3. Enable the api-mobile-push-notifications feature. See Feature Configuration for details.
