Prerequisites

To work with Workspace Web Edition & Web Services, make sure that your system meets the following minimum requirements:

OS Requirements

• Linux Red Hat, versions 5 & 6

Java Requirements

• You have installed the latest Java 1.7 JDK 64bit for Linux. For more information, refer to the Java documentation.

Jetty Requirements

• You have installed and configured Jetty 9.

Cassandra Requirements

• You have installed and configured Cassandra 1.2.

Browser Support

Workspace Web Edition

The Workspace Web Edition agent interface supports the following browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11
• Google Chrome 22+
• Firefox 15+

Gplus Adapter for Salesforce

The adapter supports the following web browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 10+, running on Windows and OS X7+
• Google Chrome 31+, running on Windows and OS X7+
• Firefox 34+, running on Windows and OS X 7+

Genesys Environment

In addition to having a Genesys Management Framework 8.1 environment installed and running, the following table lists the Genesys components that are used with a Workspace Web Edition & Web Services installation.
