Prerequisites

To work with Web Services and Applications, make sure that your system meets the following minimum requirements:

OS requirements

• Linux Red Hat, version 6

Java requirements

• You have installed the latest Java 1.7 JDK 64bit for Linux. For more information, refer to the Java documentation.

Jetty requirements

• Jetty 9.2.14.v20151106 is now embedded in the Web Services and Applications installation. For Web Services and Applications version 8.5.201.09 or earlier, you need to install and configure Jetty 9 separately.

Cassandra requirements

• You have installed and configured Cassandra 1.2.

Browser support

Workspace Web Edition

Workspace Web Edition supports the following browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11
• Google Chrome 38+
• Firefox 34+

Gplus Adapter for Salesforce

Gplus Adapter for Salesforce supports the following web browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11
• Google Chrome 38+
• Firefox 34+

The adapter supports the following browser when using the Workspace Web Edition deployment option:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
• Google Chrome 38+
• Firefox 34+

Genesys environment

In addition to having a Genesys Management Framework 8.1 environment installed and running, the following table lists the Genesys components that are used with a Web Services and Applications installation.
