Web Services and Applications Migration Guide

Welcome to the Web Services and Applications Migration Guide. This document provides information about migrating 9.0.0 Web Service and Applications.

There is no straightforward Web Services and Applications migration from 8.5.2 to 9.0.0, you need to deploy 9.0.0. For deployment information please refer to Web Services and Applications Deployment Guide.

Please follow instructions for:

• Workspace Web Edition migration
• Gplus Adapter for Salesforce migration
• Elasticsearch migration
• For upgrades within 9.0 releases, please refer to Web Services and Applications upgrade.

Migrate Configuration Options

To migrate configuration options follow these steps:

1. Open the Workspace Web Edition 8.5.2 application object in GAX.

2. Open the More menu and select Export.


3. Save the .cfg file. You can keep the default name or rename the file.
4. Open the Workspace Web Edition 9.0 application object in GAX.
5. Open the More menu and select Import.
6. Navigate to the .cfg that you saved and choose Override to override the default values of the version 9 application with the values you set in version 8.5.2.
7. Click OK to overwrite the default version 9 option values.
