Resolved Issues

This release contains the following resolved issues:

An issue that prevented SRS from starting Screen recording in non-English environment is fixed. (GIR-35194)


Multi-monitor capture now correctly detects and records all connected displays, including secondary monitors. (GIR-35265).


Black screen observed at the beginning of the screen recording is fixed. (GIR-35295).



Upgrade Notes

In-place upgrade is not supported for Genesys SR Service 8.5.500.36. A fresh installation is required.

Installation and Uninstallation Guide

Before Uninstalling SRS

  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
  • Navigate to the SRS installation directory: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\GCTI\Genesys SR Service
  • Unregister the Screen Capture DLL: regsvr32 -u screen-capture-recorder.dll
