What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- The Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities scan introduced in Genesys Rules Authoring Tool (GRAT) 9.0.0.004.02 version is made optional in this release through a configuration option. To enable the XSS vulnerabilities scan, add the parameter enable-xss-validation in the configuration options settings section and set it to true (the default value); to skip scanning, set the parameter to false. (GRS-4401)
- Migrated GRAT and Genesys Rules Engine (GRE) from JDK-8 to JDK-17. (GRS-4354)
- GRAT now supports PostgreSQL 16. (GRS-4124)
- GRAT now supports Windows Server 2022. (GRS-4112)
Resolved Issues
This release contains no resolved issues.
Upgrade Notes
When upgrading to GRAT 9.0.005.02 and GRE 9.0.005.01, you must update the Configuration Server host and port values in the .war file.
- Extract the .war file by using a tool for extraction. For GRE and GRAT, the .war files are named genesys-rules-engine.war and genesys-rules-authoring.war respectively.
- Update the /WEB-INF/classes/bootstrapconfig.xml with the Configuration Server host and port values.
- Save the bootstrapconfig.xml and save it back in the original .war file.
