What's New

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Now, Pulse Collector allows configuring a secure connection for RabbitMQ using the following new configuration options:
    • ssl-cacert - Path to trusted CA certificate file.
    • ssl-cert - Path to client certificate file.
    • ssl-key - Path to client private key file.
    • ssl-verify-hostname - This flag switches the check of the broker cert for a CN or SAN that matches the hostname. Allowed values are true and false. The default value is false.
    • ssl-verify-peer - This flag switches the validation of the certificate chain that is sent by the broker. Allowed values are true and false. The default value is false.
    • ssl - This flag switches SSL secure connection protocol. Allowed values are true and false. The default value is false.
    • Note that Pulse server supports only the options ssl and ssl-verify-hostname. (WBRT-19349)
  • Third-party libraries have been updated with the latest versions in accordance with our security policies and best practices (WBRT-19479, WBRT-19480):
    • Aeron 1.47.4
    • Boost 1.88.0
    • OpenSSL 3.0.16
    • gRPC 1.71.0
    • V8 13.6.233.8

This release contains the following resolved issues:


Now, Pulse Collector does not crash when generating a snapshot if an object belongs to multiple metagroups. (WBRT-19457)



Upgrade Notes

No special procedure is required to upgrade to release 9.0.011.04.
